Details

Athenaeus stands at 5 fulms, 10 ilms and has a slender build. His raven black hair has pure white accents and is pulled back from his face, except for a little on his right side. His fashion changes regularly, but one can typically find him in light armor garb, somes donning leather, too. His demeanor is warm and inviting, even to those he's never met, but shouldn't be taken for granted. While cheerful and easily approachable, he is also quick-witted and not afraid to show off his sarcastic side. Nothing will anger him more than to find out someone has lied to him.He's a nurturer to a fault, and always wants to find out how he can help his friends and those he's just met. Being a scholar at heart, Athenaeus always likes to have a strategy for jumping into things, often wishing to stay away from the front lines and provide strategy and support to his team mates.

Brief History

Born into a prominent merchant family in Sharlayan, Athenaeus lived a comfortable life growing up. His talent with magic showed from an early age and led him to a rather natural tract in Aetherology when he was old enough to enroll in the Studium. His studies focused on the correlation between the various magical disciplines that had been studied in the Eorzean main lands. His studies led him into an intricate combination known as Sorcery.As a child, he often enjoyed taking trips to Thavnair with his family where he became enamored by the Thavnarian dancers. Upon graduating from the Studium, Athenaeus' first venture was to Thavnair where he learned the technique enough to begin experimenting with dynamic, projectile foci and their viability in charging aether for spells.Athenaeus calls the Lavender Beds home when he isn't back in Sharlayan. He spends much of his time traversing the lands to continue his research, walking the fine line learning, but never doing anything that would gain the attention of the Forum.
